The Fighters Guild

Members of the group whose aim is to help put on a visually stunning and effective performance for arena shows by using it as a “battlefield” who are¬†aiming to “fight” each other in the best but safest possible way ,using weapons and armour correct to the period required as well as able to talk about the equipment we are using should public ask.

As well as this the fighters guild work with each other to help come up with new routines for fights, and mini parts of the living history encampment, eg. Troll Bridge, which can be done between performances and helps as training aides.

It’s all about the training!¬† Here’s a video of the lads practising the Schiltron:

  1. Hi, Really enjoyed watching you guys in Elgin today, I have always had a keen interest in this era of history and I have always wanted to be part of a reenactment group. Would love it if someone could advise how i could go about getting into it, either through yourselves or if you know any groups in the Elgin area.

    Thanks

    Daniel.

  2. Hi!

I would really love to get into re-enactment, and I was wondering if there are any groups of that ilk around the Inverness area that I could join?

    Thanks!

    Ellinor
